Behind Noctcom there's one person, not a corporation.
Noctcom is built by Julián Rodríguez, a self-taught developer, under the Redder Labs brand. No investors, no marketing team, no meetings. Just code and one fixed idea: that your data shouldn't be the product.
How I got here
I started programming at 7, building computers on my own. At 16 I made my first websites. Everything else came the same way: reading other people's code and breaking things until I understood why they broke.
«Everything I know I learned by reading other people's code, breaking things until I understood why they broke.»
I work alone, on my own hours, and I self-fund. That shapes the product: nothing depends on selling your attention or your data, because there's no one to answer to other than the people who use it.
Why Noctcom works this way
Every tool I make shares one principle: the processing happens on your device, not on a server that watches you. In Xero Trace that means your location stays private, not a product. In Noctcom it means your files are encrypted before they leave your machine, and all the server ever receives is something it can't open.
It's not an option you turn on: it's the only way it's built. And like everything I make, the code is open (AGPL-3.0) so you don't have to take my word for it: you can check it line by line.

Xero Trace
A personal safety app that detects falls and accidents by analyzing the accelerometer, processing everything on the device. «When seconds matter, not recordings».
